Fireworks Sale & Use Prohibited in the City of Talent
Due to ongoing drought conditions and fire risks in Southern Oregon, the City of Talent passed an ordinance in 2021 prohibiting the sale and use of fireworks within city limits. This regulation, detailed in Ordinance No. 2021-969-O, remains in effect indefinitely unless changed by the Council. Violations can result in fines of up to $500 (Talent Municipal Code 9.05.350). Given the similar conditions this year, we kindly ask residents to respect and comply with this fireworks ban.
