Foundation for Talent’s Historic Town Hall
The City of Talent is seeking qualifications for a design / build team for the construction or repair of the foundation for the City of Talent Historic Town Hall that is located at 206 East Main Street. This building is a large 4,870 square foot wood framed building located in the heart of the downtown. It sits on the northwest corner of East Main and North Market Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in March 2012 (NRIS# 12000080).
The successful proposer must demonstrate the ability to deliver a foundation solution that meets historical preservation requirements and building codes.
Solicitation documents can be downloaded from the City of Talent website at https://www.Cityoftalent.org/index.asp. Any addenda that may be issued relating to this RFQ will be available on the City website, and potential proposers are cautioned to continuously monitor the site for updates and addenda.
Requests for qualifications may be available online, but applicants will not be able to submit their proposals and/or responses online. Proposals must be delivered in electronic or hard copy form to the City in accordance with the requirements outlined in the RFQ.
The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00 PM (PST), Friday, October 11, 2024. All questions must be to Tessa DeLine at tdeline@cityoftalent.org or by phone, 541-535-1566, option 7. No questions, oral or written, will be permitted after 5:00 PM, PST, Friday, October 11, 2024. This will enable the City to respond to last-minute questions and make them available to all potential Proposers before the proposal submittal deadline. Only written answers will be binding.
PROPOSALS MUST BE DATE AND TIME-STAMPED AS RECEIVED BY THE STATED DEADLINE. Proposals will not be accepted after the closing date/time as stated. Failure to comply with this requirement shall result in rejection of the Proposal as non-responsive.
Electronic Submittal shall arrive no later than Friday, October 18, 2024 by 5:00 p.m.
Hard copies shall arrive no later than Friday, October 25, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
