Recology & City of Talent Partner for Community Leaf Collection Event

Recology and the City of Talent Join Forces for a Community Leaf Collection Event
Talent, Oregon— In a yearly effort to promote sustainability and support local agriculture, Recology and the City of Talent are pleased to announce a unique opportunity for Talent residents to contribute to a greener community.
On December 2nd, from 10 am to 3 pm, local residents are invited to bring their leaves to a designated collection point at City Hall. This collaborative initiative aims to divert organic material from the waste stream and promote eco-friendly practices.
The collected leaves will be transported to local farms, where they will be transformed into nutrient-rich compost, benefiting our local agricultural community.
It's essential to note that this event is exclusively for Talent & Ashland residents; commercial landscapers are kindly requested not to participate. As a measure to ensure compliance, residents of both Talent and Ashland may be asked to provide proof of address.
In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, this event is ZERO WASTE. To uphold this principle, all participants will be requested to take their empty leaf bags back home with them.
We invite the Talent community to join us on December 2nd to make this initiative a tremendous success. Let's come together to support local agriculture, reduce waste, and make a positive impact on our environment.
