Exploring the PIER Program for Community Recovery After Fires

The PIER program plans to allocate $13.8 million in Community Development Block Grant funds to aid the recovery of the community after the Almeda and South Obenchain Fires. The primary focus is on addressing the critical business and economic needs in Jackson County. The funds are strategically directed towards supporting business recovery, stimulating commercial development, and attracting new businesses to the region.
