Does the City accept memorial donations to our parks? How do I make a cash donation to the parks? I have some gently used sports equipment that's just taking up space in my home. Would the City be interested in having it?Q: Does the City accept memorial donations to our parks?
A: The City welcomes memorial donations, such as the Kearns Memorial boulder at the dog park, as long as they meet certain guidelines. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Commission for more information.

Q: How do I make a cash donation to the parks?
A: Cash donations are always welcome to help fund capital improvements in the parks. Currently, the City is seeking donations to help fund a one-mile walking/jogging trail in Chuck Roberts Park. Pledge your support to Parks and Recreation Commission. Those donating $50 or more will be recognized at the trail dedication ceremony, but any amount helps.

Q: I have some gently used sports equipment that's just taking up space in my home. Would the City be interested in having it?
A: The City might be able to use it, especially for the summer youth activities. Please contact the City of Talent and tell us what you have.
