CITY OF TALENT
NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCIES
COUNCIL POSITION NO. 1 AND NO. 3

 
The City of Talent is seeking applications for City Council Position No. 1 and No. 3. While City Councilors are typically elected by voters, vacancies are filled by appointment by the City Council. Appointed Councilors serve until the next general election.
 
To qualify, candidates must reside within the city limits and be a registered voter prior to submitting an application for appointment. 


Applications must be submitted to the Office of the City Recorder no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, to be considered. Due to COVID, City Hall is closed to the public. If submitting your application in person, please drop off your application in the drop box in front of City Hall.
 
Talent City Council will conduct a public interview of candidates at its regular meeting of Wednesday January 20, 2021, 6:45 p.m. via Zoom.

 
The appointee’s term shall begin immediately upon his/her appointment and term ending January 4, 2022.
