The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will host a public hearing regarding the proposed jurisdictional transfer of Suncrest Road, from the south access of Willow Springs Drive to the Bear Creek Bridge, to the City of Talent. The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 9:30 AM in the Jackson County Courthouse Auditorium, 10 S. Oakdale Ave., Medford.
Because of physical distancing requirements, to address the Board of Commissioners for this Public Hearing, you are encouraged to submit comments in writing, either by mail to 10 S. Oakdale, Room 214, Medford OR 97501, or by email to BoC‑CAO_Admin@jacksoncounty.org
; written comments must be received by 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, to be accepted into the meeting record. All written correspondence must include the author’s name and address. Live audio comment via videoconference may also be received during the public hearing portion of the meeting by emailing BoC‑CAO_Admin@jacksoncounty.org
to register; registration requests must be received by 8:30 a.m. on August 19, 2020. Lastly, you will be able to speak in person during a public hearing and the public may come to the Courthouse Auditorium. However, occupancy is limited in the Auditorium and you may be asked to wait outside until it is your turn to speak.
Following the public hearing, the Commissioners will consider whether or not to transfer jurisdiction of Suncrest Road as proposed.
