2018 Arbor Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day!

Join the City of Talent and Talent Middle School we as proudly celebrate our 18th Annual Arbor Day on Saturday April 28th at 9 a.m., at the corner of Suncrest Road and Clearview Parkway.

Come see the planting of several trees for the area, learn how to plant trees in your own yard, or join in the fun by helping to do the planting!  Mayor Darby Ayers-Flood will make an Arbor Day proclamation and a representative from the Department of Forestry will present Talent with a Tree City USA award for the 18th consecutive year.

Talent is proud of its dedication to trees, which are important in so many ways for the health and beauty of our environment.  You can also get advice about your own trees from professional arborist, Pete Lunde owner of Earth Stewards, LLC., by bringing pictures on your phone or an actual leaf if your tree has problems.

Refreshments and other activities will make this a fun occasion for the family.
